Guides

A reading order for new players, plus the mistakes that usually end a slide.

The sort control orders cards by the featured sequence, by name, or by topic. It does not sort by cost, because no cost is shown.

Independent fan site

This is an independent fan website dedicated to CarX Drift Racing Online 2. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the game's developers or publishers.

How the topic grid is meant to be used

The grid on this page is a contents list with a search box, a topic filter, and a sort control. It is not a shop and it is not a database of hidden stats. Each card has a name, a short description, a topic such as Gameplay, Cars, Car Tuning, Drift Techniques, Tracks, or Guides, and a link to the page that actually explains the subject. Search looks at the name and the description text stored on the card. The topic menu hides cards that are not in the chosen group. Sort can keep the featured order, switch to A–Z or Z–A by name, or group by topic. If nothing matches, the page says so. The search text and the filter choice stay on the page while it is open. They are not written into local storage and they are not sent anywhere.

Featured order is an editorial order for reading, not a ranking of the game. A card near the top is not more official, more popular, or more expensive. There is no price sort because there are no prices. There is no rating sort because this fan site does not display stars, review counts, or download totals. If you came here from a store page that shows those figures, leave them on the store page. Copying a score onto a fan card would make the card look like a review widget, which these pages are not.

The gameplay cards point at sideways driving, the four surfaces, tyre pressure as a physics claim without a number, online rooms, XDS, and the other modes named on the listing. The car cards point at the count of over 65 sports cars and at the two names from the 16 September 2026 update note, Shinobi and Boat Race 7 Sayaka Special. The tuning cards point at visual parts and performance categories. The technique cards point at general habits and say they are general. The track cards point at detailed tracks without inventing names. The guide cards point at practice notes and at the local message form. Reading a card and then opening its page is the intended path. The card text is a label, not the full explanation.

JPEG illustrations sit on the cards so the grid is not a wall of type. They are the same drawings used elsewhere: a slide, surface panels, a tandem curve, a garage layout, smoke, a steering wheel, a circuit outline, and the night-road scene. A picture of four panels labeled asphalt, sand, grass, and snow is an illustration of the four words the listing uses. It is not a photograph of those surfaces in the game and it is not a track map. A steering wheel with the words steer, throttle, balance, and look ahead is a reminder of the general advice on Drift Techniques. It is not a control diagram from the developer.

Use the filter when you are trying to answer a narrow question. If the question is "what does the listing say about tandem scoring," choose Gameplay and open the XDS material, then read Gameplay itself before you trust the card. If the question is "which adjustments exist," choose Car Tuning and expect categories, not a parts catalogue. If the question is "what should I practice first," choose Guides or Drift Techniques and expect habits, with the handbrake and the four surfaces kept separate as listing facts. If the search box finds nothing, the word may be a track name, a horsepower figure, or a price. Those are missing on purpose.

The grid cannot get out of date in a subtle way without the pages underneath it also getting out of date. Cards repeat claims that the articles repeat, and the articles repeat the listing. When you compare a card with Google Play, compare the article too. A correction can be sent to [email protected] or written into the form on Contact, which keeps a browser copy and can open a draft to that address. You can also call +65 6264 3191 or post to 48 Toh Guan Road East, #01-119 Enterprise Hub, Singapore 608586. A correction about the fan site is welcome. A request for a made-up stat will not be added just because the grid has an empty space.

Empty search is a normal result. Clear the box, set the topic back to all topics, and set the sort back to featured if you want the original reading order. The cards are not removed from the file when they are hidden. They are only hidden in the browser. Refreshing the page restores the full set. Nothing about that interaction creates an account, a cookie, or a record on a server run by this project.

If you want the same topics without the grid, use the header. Game Overview, Gameplay, Features, Cars, Tracks, Guides, About, FAQ, and Contact are the primary links. Car Tuning, Drift Techniques, Tips, and Gallery are in the footer because they are part of the same set but not required to understand the map. The legal pages are there too. Features is the page you can skim. The subject pages are where the sentences are long enough to stay accurate.
